Snippets-Biology

I feel inspired to write again, though not much. now i aim to write a little snippet each day. Sigh. i have a feeling that this will be another one of those "promises" that will go down the drain. Again. Yeah. so here it is.

Biology

I finally realised why i like biology so much. It is because i am an avid collector of stories. I like to read. Thats why i enjoy bio. Let me explain how i came to this conclusion. We were on lectures about genetics, and it suddenly occured to me midlecture that DNA, they are just letters! And a sequence of DNA that makes sense, is called a gene. Its a word! And when the genes gets expressed, they get translated into Proteins. Which fold. And the folds interact with the bodily chemicals. A Paragraph! And how the various paragraphs interact with each other and produce locomotion, or how they tell the tale of digestion. A story!! And the cool thing is, as evolution goes, the unsuccessful doesn't survive. All of the stories in biology are best sellers. They HAVE to be, else they won't be here. That is the reason why i love biology. Everywhere you look you see the tale told by molecules, each of them interesting in their own way. And since evolution works in a free-for-all way, you find unexpected interactions all the time. Endless plot twists! What more can a reader ask for?

Example: Joan and Lauren weren't always simpatico, but they complemented each other well enough, and the two roommates haven't had a fight as of yet.
