Perry Bible Fellowship
If you would take a look around the blog, particularly under "Collage", you'll see this link called "pbf comics". Despite its religious name, it is as religious as a can of coke. Just as Madonna called herself madonna even though she is no madonna, the PBF has nothing to do with a bible fellowship. Instead, it has some of the funniest comics i have ever seen.
Gruewitch starts his comics innocently enough. Readers will often see a comic in bright kindergarten colours, with friendly, smiling characters doing or saying innocuous things. This veneer of pleasantness, however, is catastrophically (and hilariously) scratched away as the very last panel is revealed, which utterly betrays the preconceptions that was carefully crafted in the beginning few panels, delivering a bitch-slap to the mind. Even in milder comics, readers come off with the feeling that there is no more innocence left, but that only adds to the mindblowing funniness (is that even a word?) that are PBF comics.
So, visit The Perry Bible Fellowship, take a look around the site whenever you are bored. Maybe you won't be as enchanted by his work as me, but i can almost guarantee you it will tickle your funny bone.

Hah, tell you what, when you showed me the "love can make anything happen" comics, I actually believed that it was feasible! Not until I realized that deep down that pit there isn't anything to eat etc. Unless they could perform photosynthesis, of course. :P
Anyway, really some sick humour there.
i really like PB comics... what you said is so true about the "bitch-slap to the mind". I like it. :)
lol for a few weeks I used the 'Ze other girls can see what ze hell zey are doing' one for my desktop.
I still like bunny better though. Must be to do with the hunt for meaning and the usually wry, funny but not really sort of commentary.
@Youngyew: lol, law of the conservation of energy ftw. I looked at the comic and thought, hmm, weren't rabbits supposed to be able to burrow?
@Gneake: It is, isn't it? thats why i love it so much. Its just so.. "WTF". Thats the only phrase that can describe it most succinctly.
@Jiko: you sort of wonder how the vampires in the movies (the female ones) have immaculate make up, etc etc, heh heh. And i still haven't started on bunny yet. Perhaps i should?
Thanks for sharing. The PBF comics are awfully hilarious *guffaw*
they were hilarious! They sure are talented.
