UROP

Well, i got into the interview, but i didn't get the job.

On retrospect, just getting the interview was a feat in itself. A number of people that i look up to in my course didn't even get to the interview stage. I am grateful for passing that at least.

Have been checking the mail box almost 4 times a day towards the end of May and beyond, waiting for the results that i hoped for.

Got the notification today.

Given the late notification, i know that i have already been rejected. But there is still the shallow feeling of being denied something i have wished for regardless.

Nothing to do except for getting better academic results and shooting for it again next time.

On the plus side i get to go home. I'm happy with that.
